Ginger Detox Body Scrub

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • ½ cup of Epsom salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine roughly chopped ginger and ½ cup Epsom salt in a food processor. Pulse a few times until the ginger is ground and combined.
  2. Remove to a small bowl and add lemon juice.
  3. Put down a towel and apply scrub before your detox bath

Before you start scrubbing, start filling the bath with hot water. The heat and the ginger will make you sweat! Which is pretty much the goal, because sweating is how the body eliminates toxins. Plus it also helps unclog your pores and relax the muscles.

DIY - Homemade Anti-cellulite Treatment Perfect For Bikini Season

Short or tall, thin or not—cellulite is not selective when it comes to body type. Nine out of 10 women have some form of cellulite! The causes of cellulite are numerous and include genetics, poor diet, lack of exercise, dehydration, hormonal changes, thickness of skin and body fat.

Since cellulite ultimately can affect each and every one of us, what is there to do about it, if anything? Creams and lotions designed for battling cellulite can be expensive and their results unclear. But do not despair! These at-home DIY cellulite remedies can help those dimples, lumps and bulges that appear on our thighs, bottom and abdomen.

This recipe for Cellulite Coffee Scrub is perfect if you are staying away from caffeine, but need a little sensory pick-me-up in the morning.

While drinking coffee can deplete our tissues of fluid, applying coffee topically can actually help fight cellulite. Coffee can tone tissues, and also help with the toxin buildup which is one cause of cellulite.

Applied to the skin, caffeine works on cellulite by improving circulation in the affected area. Gather around a quarter or half a bowl of coffee grounds. Add about two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and mix the two ingredients. Take a sponge bath and massage your old coffee and hot oil in a circular motion on the affected areas or throughout the body. Insist on thighs and buttocks areas. Leave as much zat on the affected areas. Use plastic wrap to wrap tightly around composition as areas affected by cellulite. After you left on for about 10 minutes, remove the foil and rinse with warm water.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is one of the best choices when it comes treating sports injuries, bad back, stiff neck or for those who generally like a deeper massage.

Massage is used to reduce tension, stretch ligaments and tendons. During your sports massage your muscles will be flushed of all toxins helping to improve your muscles, flexibility and improve joint mobility. Sports massage can be used before, during and after work out.

Regular treatments can help break down scar tissue, remove the build-up of toxins, improve mobility and reduce the risk of further injury.

Unlike Swedish massage therapy, which is used for relaxation, Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage can help with specific problems such as headaches caused by muscular tension, frozen shoulder, recovery from injuries, pulled muscles, postural problems, muscle tension or spasm.
