What specifically does your haven massage consist of?

It's a specially tailored, carefully thought through treatment which is designed to deeply relax. It involves using rich, organic scented oils to massage your body from head to toe. The oils are specially blended to create a light, relaxing scent and deeply nourish the skin. You will be given an eye mask to rest your eyes, music to help calm your mind, and other luxurious special touches which we will leave as a surprise. 

What type of massage technique do you do?

Our signature Haven Massage is a carefully designed combination of deep tissue, aromatherapy and classical techniques. It alternates between rhythmic strokes and deep tension release. The idea is to release muscle tension whilst at the same time promoting deep relaxation.

If you would like to tailor your massage to a particular style, you can just let us know when you make your booking by selecting one of the Special Options. Your therapist will also be very attentive to your needs during the session. 

Who will my therapist be?

An experienced female massage therapist and qualified physiotherapist. She will have an excellent ability to relax you as well as a warm, caring and light personality.

What should I wear for the massage?

You can dress to your own personal level of comfort. Most ladies wear their underwear and a towel.

What will you perform the massage on?

Typically the massage is conducted on your bed. The therapist will bring a soft cotton sheet to cover the bed with protecting it and creating a lovely soft feeling. However, if you have a massage table we will happily set it up for you!

Do I need to provide anything for the massage?

You will only need to provide two large clean towels. The rest is completely taken care of.

What if I am pregnant?

We ask all our pregnant clients to be past their first trimester before beginning any course of pregnancy massage treatments. It is perfectly safe to have our massage whilst you are pregnant, as our therapists are familiar with pregnancy massage techniques.  For more information, see Therapies. 

Are there any side effects?

The idea is to help your body and mind to completely relax and let go of built up stresses and tension. For some people, that can occasionally mean some minor symptoms after the massage like feeling light-headed, sleepy, or very thirsty. This is perfectly normal and is the result of the body releasing toxins, tension and increased blood flow.

It is recommended you do not do anything strenuous immediately after the massage and you stay hydrated by drinking lots of clean, filtered water. 

What if I am allergic to something?

If you have any allergies, please do let us know when booking a session. That way we can make sure we cater for your allergies in the best way possible.

Can I book one session at a time?

Yes absolutely. If it is your first session then please do try us out before booking multiple sessions.  

Can I book multiple sessions?

Yes you can book more than one session if you like. 

Where are you located?

The service is available in zone 1-3 Central London and also covering SW areas in Battersea Park,Clapham,Balham,Tooting Bec and Streatham Common.

What times are you available?

Monday to Sunday 9am - 10pm

How do I book?

Simply click Book Now, choose a duration for the session and pick the date and time you would like from the calendar. You can then enter your details and location and request the booking. Your booking will be confirmed by email and sms as soon as the therapist has the chance to review it.

If you would like to pay for multiple sessions, please send us a message and we will get back to you.

How much notice do you need before a booking?

At least 90 minutes notice to give enough time for last minute preparations and travel time.  

How do I pay?

You pay the therapist by cash after each session. If you are booking a series of sessions in advance, you can pay by bank transfer (details will be provided) or pay the total amount in cash when you have your first session. 

Should I tip my therapist?

That is totally up to you! If you do tip it will be graciously received, but please know that there is no expectation whatsoever. 

How can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking any time. However, we do ask that you give as much notice as possible. This is because two hours before your session, preparations are being made and your therapist may even be on her way. 

Are you reputable and insured?

We are a new company and are steadily and happily growing. The majority of our new clients come to us through recommendation.

We have public liability insurance which covers all aspects of massage and spa based services conducted at any location.

We massage men only through recommendation.
