pre / post Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy is a beautiful time in your life where your body is going through so many changes. Tension and swelling are common complaints during this time and massage can be a great way to aid healing and relaxation.

Our pregnancy massage works by applying gentle pressure around the areas you feel the most tension. It is designed to relax you and aid stress as well as decrease swelling in the arms and legs by increasing blood and lymphatic circulation. If you suffer from aches and pains in muscles and joints (especially in the lower back, hips and legs) due to pregnancy, this is a great choice.

You should know we only use 100% pure, organic oils that we source from Fushi Wellbeing and blend ourselves. And your body will be properly positioned and supported during the massage to ensure comfort and safety for you and the baby.

 Deep Tissue / Swedish Massage

The purpose of Deep Tissue Swedish Massage is to release deep tension and knots. You may feel a little discomfort at times (it's a good pain!) but you can always request your therapist to go easy if you need to. This is a popular choice and helps to reduce the tightness in the muscles, relieve pain in the spine, back, neck and shoulders and promote a feeling of well-being (after you get over the soreness the next day!)

Sports / Physiotherapy Massage

If you have any muscular injuries due to sport or other activities, muscular pain, or a restricted range of motion then this is a good choice for you.

The pressure will be a little more intense and there will be some light stretching and pulling of the muscles. This will help to increase flexibility, reduce spasms, improve posture and assist in recovery.

Slimming / Cellulite Massage

If your goal is to slim down and/or reduce cellulite, this massage can definitely help.  Cellulite needs to be massaged using firm, circular, vigorous movements which increase blood circulation and help to tighten up the skin. This will leave your skin tingling and rosy. It is also beneficial for targeting those difficult areas that can’t always be targeted through exercise, such as the inner knee and upper thigh.

Jet Lag Massage

This massage is wonderful for targeting the most common tension areas. Based on Swedish and Indian head massage techniques, the idea is to help release the stress and toxins which have accumulated in your tissues, muscle and joints. It involves deep kneading of your scalp, neck and shoulders with gentle strokes over pressure points on your face combined with a full body massage - bliss. (This massage is also great if you have trouble sleeping or have frequent headaches)
